Picot-Elastic made from TENCEL™ Lyocell, TENCEL™ Luxe & natural rubber – 17 mm – white – sanforised
This high-quality Picot-Elastic is made from TENCEL™ Lyocell, TENCEL™ Luxe and FSC®-certified natural rubber – a plastic-free alternative to conventional elastic bands. With a width of 17 mm, sanforised finish (pre-shrunk using only water, heat and pressure) and a pleasantly soft feel, it is ideal for close-fitting textiles.
The natural rubber content ensures long-lasting, natural elasticity with a stretch length of approx. 120%. At the same time, the TENCEL™ fibre offers a smooth, breathable surface that feels comfortable even when worn for long periods. The tape is suitable for sewing on or attaching.
It is particularly recommended for use in underwear – for example as a soft underbust band in bustiers and bras or as waist elastic in briefs. The decorative wave edge is a special eye-catcher. Suitable for use in light to medium-weight fabrics such as batiste, poplin, jersey, etc.
The term ‘picot’ comes from French and refers to a small decorative loop or zigzag border.
Suitable for:
- Waistbands in underwear and clothing
- Underbust bands and waistband solutions
- Skin-friendly applications for sensitive wearers
